To let the LV community know about their deceptive practices

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

What a horrible experience. Entered into a contract with Abbey Dental for veneers and a bridge. This also included pulling 5 teeth with two implants.

They placed 8 temporary veneers (top) with very little instruction. Try asking questions, and you get one-word answers. It seemed like educating their patients was the last thing they wanted to do. After the temps came the permanent veneers, which I was so excited to have. I've never had straight, beautiful teeth. The veneers were beautiful. I was so excited to get on with the plan AbbeyDental had designed.

From the beginning of this nightmare, my coordinator, Shay, kept telling me to trust her. She's been in the business for over 20 years and how this is "what we do."

The next part of this process was pulling five teeth, three of which are in my smile. The teeth were pulled, and I received a temporary retainer to fill in the spaces of the missing teeth. The healing went well. I'm even more excited to move this process along and finally get a beautiful smile and be able to chew food like a regular human being. "Trust me," Shay says.

The next part of the plan, get the posts put in. Five days before my appointment for these posts, I get a text from Shay. A TEXT. Not a phone call, a text, telling me they no longer have the doctors to perform the rest of the work needed, and they would just send me a refund check. I couldn't believe what I was reading. I reminded her they pulled my teeth, and I'm still missing three, which are in my smile. She texted, "sorry."

How the *** is "sorry" going to make up for missing teeth and a mouth that was not even half done?. A Friday morning at 8am and no one is answering a phone call to explain this to me. I went onto their website, and they still have Doctors. All they did was change their business plan and now charge more. I believe Abbey Dental, along with their representative, Shay, willfully lied. They knew they were changing prices, and you still started a dental plan that you had no intention of completing. You scammed a human being that came to you in need with their dental problems.

I requested an itemized list of charges, and here again, they showed what shysters they really are. The original plan shows a charge for the "warranty" for almost 5000. When they sent the itemized charges, they changed it to a "digital design fee". Now I have a mouth with missing teeth AND no warranty for the work they did performed.

Yes, I went to two attorneys who stated it would cost more to take them to court and to just take the loss . It was hard to hear that because I felt duped and felt like an idiot for falling for this scam. Abbey Dental knows this and this is why they "do what they do". Both lawyers suggested I turn to social media and tell my experience. I still have all documents and texts to share publicly if needed to show the legitimacy of my experience.

To whomever is contemplating using this business, think long and hard before you do. I did not use their in-house financing but instead used my hard earned money that I had saved. And what did I get for that? Months of waiting to get a half *** job performed on my smile. Read BBB reviews and pay attention to the unprofessional and smart *** answers this business gives to the patients they have wronged. Thank you for reading this review, and please remember my experience. You might get a different experience but I will always remember what my coordinator Shay stated, "TRUST ME, THIS IS WHAT WE DO". So please believe them on that account.

So the warranty is bs . If you don't live near las vegas don't waste your time. I had a complete tooth removal and permanent dentures. When they first put in my upper it was way to small and tight. The porcelain broke in a couple days and they replaced it . I'm sure they actually just repaired it. Now less than three years later the entire inside porcelain is broken apart and the front is breaking up daily. Spend your 40k elsewhere!

Still suffering

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
DServices! I suffered under their care. Terribly! I have videos. I went to Abbeys to have extractions &;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;amp;;;;;;;; a partial made. They didnt clean my teeth before extraction & some plaque was left in my gums after extraction. They left tooth or plaque in my mouth after extraction & I told them I felt it with my tongue. They assured me that it was bone. That was Friday! I suffered over the weekend with extreme pain & had to go to the emergency room because I felt I had overdosed on pain the medication. I went back to Abbey to complain & they gave me a note with another doctors name on it & told me to make an appt with him. Abbey already had my $3,300.00 & were through with me. They advertise cheap prices because they have a financial institution that will finance it for you at extremely high interest rates. I chose to have them finance it for me & I would have paid them TWICE the original cost. Well, I got my sister to pay the financial institution for me so Abbey will not get the interest thereby point me to another dentist. I still have a bump in my gums from when the dentist was putting the partial into my mouth. I pray its not dangerous because it continue to get larger!

Management office is absolutely uncaring

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I first went to Abbey Dental on August 19,2021. They had a cancellation of oral surgery on August 20, 2021.

I had all of my remaining teeth pulled haled for 4 months and had an upper regular denture and a three pin lower denture put in. I went back about 5 times for adjustments. Then in June I got a e-mail generated by Ashlee that the dentist would no longer see me and that I was banned from Abbey Dental. She claims that the dentist wrote the letter.

My very last appointment with the dentist I asked him if he wrote that letter, He said he did not and we have always worked well together with no problems. They refuse to give me any treatment or refund. My dentures are terrible they hurt the roof of my mouth they move back and forth, they trap excessive food behind them and the caps on the lower come out and they bite the inside of my lower gum causing a sore and bleeding.

Dont go here they are scammers and they will not work with you. appointment was on June 7, 2021.

Horrible Service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I Had my first appointment to get my crown, and everything went smooth. It was the second appointment that was the trouble. I was scheduled for an 11:30 appointment. I confirmed the appointment, held up my part of the appointment and was even 10 minutes early. They took my payment, and I sat for 45 minutes till I got up and let them know I could no longer wait as I have a life outside of the Dentist. I was told it would take 20 more minutes. Someone moved my appointment in the company. This was not acceptable. They inform me that the next available appointment is a month out, again not acceptable. The issue gets worse when you have front desk staff that cannot do anything. They have to refer you to everyone else to get anything done. So, they give me a phone number to call, and no one answers, not even a machine. So you waste more of your time calling over and over again till someone picks up. I finally get someone on the line, and they can't help me. I need to speak with someone else. I am forwarded to a VM box, and here I sit 2 days later with no Appointment; they have my money and no response.

Abbey Dental does terrible work, and they rip you off financially

My son was in terrible pain so we went to Abbey Dental on Eastern in Las Vegas. We were going to get my son implants. After a couple hours they sent us home, not with any dentures as promised. The next time we went they gave him a temporary upper plate, they screwed up the bottom and the upper did not fit correctly. I immediately sent a registered letter to Abbey Dental stating I was unhappy with the work and to stop any further action on my sons behalf. They wanted to charge me $29,000.00 and after interest it came to $52,000.00. After speaking with Green Sky their financial people and telling them I was not paying for awful work which at most came to 4 hours, they reduced my bill to 12,000.00. I have contacted Abbey and asked for an itemized statement which they have not sent. In the mean time I am being charged late fees and interest every month. In what world does a dentist get $12,000.00 for a bad temporary which took 4 hours 2 visits. That is $3000.00 an hour and my son still has no teeth. I am reporting them to the BBB. They lie do terrible work and steal your money through some sort of credit card scam. I have spoken to Green Sky and Abbey Dental and have not gotten an itemized statement nor have the charges late charges or interest stopped. These people are crooks of the worst kind.

I feel like I've went through a used car deal. I'm only about 2 years into my all in 4 inplants( there is a story there also).

I need a new set again already.

Can't say anymore on this public site. We need to find a class action suit against Abbey Dental.

I am in. I am being charged over twelve thousand dollars for a couple hours of work done on my son.

After seeing the temporary top plate which did not fit and being told something was wrong with the bottom. Then finding out I was being charged 29,000.00 and after interest would come to 52,000.00, I immediately sent a registered letter saying To stop any further work on my behalf. The contract says I have to pay if they already started making the permanent teeth. Well they could not even get the temporary's done.

I have called asking for an itemized statement, which they have not sent. Green sky the credit company is hounding me and charging me late fees and interest. I explained the situation to them and they really don't care. They do terrible work.

Talk about scammers. I have priced the work that we were having done with several other dentists and the very highest total was around $8000.00. Someone needs to arrest these people for fraud and attempted theft.

I am all for a class action suit. What is my next step?

SAME HAPPENED TO ME NOW THEY HAVE BANNED ME AND MY DENTURES ARE TERRIBLE

WILLIAM C Nbw
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-2031138

They did the same thing to me after paying $20000 with interest charges they made a regular upper denture and a three post lower denture. They have never fit right they move come out cant chew and they trap lots of food behind until they come loose. Kept going back an then they sent me an e-mail from Ashley that I am banned from coming to Abbey Dental and they will do nothing to fix my dentures.

Taylan Kct

My implants were done in 2016, I still can't eat regular food, I have been eating Applesauce and mashed potatoes since May 2016. The first set of implants lost teeth after 6 weeks they did not brake, but slipped, the dental tech suggested my husband stop hitting me in the mouth....the second implant now has a lot of band-aids, 6 months later I got a second set of dentures, because the other ones had to be fixed so often that I did not have have any in my mouth, those teeth are actually snap on teeth.

I was not informed that the teeth would come out, the Dentist told us, that they could stay in several weeks at a time, just needed new rings from time to time. That concept does not seem to work, as every time I try to bite into something they come loose (out). You know how embarrassing that is, and unhealthy. On the second set of teeth the top set broke....When I complained to the BBB, they replied that it was my fault as I had Osteoporosis all over and that I was grinding my teeth.

Through the Nellis Hospital I have a complete Health History for over 50 years, complete with test results. I submitted a bone density test from July 2016 and October 2019, the last time I had contact with a Dentist at Abbey Dental. Now Dr. Ostler answered that I was not a very good candidate for implants, because of bone lost and my teeth grinding.

At the very beginning I ask if I was a good Candidate because of my age, even though they stated, that I was a good candidate teeth and did not need bone repair.. funny, that if I was not a good candidate why would they sell me a second set and a third set....I contacted Abbey Dental 6 or 7 times by phone from February 2020 through July, at that time I wrote to letters and never got an answer. In January 2020 I went to talk to "Jamie", she was at that time the Manager of ABBEY DENTAL, she had another set of X-Rays done, and told me she would get in contact with the two Dentist concerned and would call me to figure out what to do. I also told her at that time and took Documents to her, that in Europe Dentist would extract Plasma from patients and use the fibrin in it to put in before the implants and that would prevent bone loss.

I also gave her the information of places to contact here in the US. Anyway she never responded.

When I finally got a response, it was from a Lady named Ashley, ad she said that Jamie was no longer the manager, the Dentist are now their own Managers and responsible. I told her that my contract was with Abbey Dental.....

DO NOT GO HERE!

This so-called dental office is a scam and full of people who don't tell you the truth. They push you to sign up for credit instead of dealing with your insurance company, which means you must deal with your insurance company instead. Also, they did not tell me they were out of network from my insurance, which meant after MONTHS of phone calls and emails I had to pay for the whole procedure myself.

Outside of the insane billing procedures, I had to get the bridge to replace a broken tooth done twice because the first time the dentist screwed it up so badly it wouldn't fit. And the reason he screwed it up so badly was the scheduling department had screwed up my appointment which meant they had to squeeze me in at the last minute and the dentist and assistant clearly did not care if they did their work properly.

And I found out later the procedure they recommended for me to get was TWICE the price of another procedure I could have received and they never told me the price difference.

Long story short: DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Abbey Dental is a fraudulent, and deceptive.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Okay was asked by a female friend to relieve her grandmother of transportation and provide transportation for her after her dental work is complete. Well there I was asked if I would verify that my friend was indeed who she claimed to be errand asked me to sign a electronic signature stating that I know her and she is who she claims to be. Before I signed i8 made it real clear that I'm not going to sign anything they be responsible for her billing and they assured me that that it will not happen. Talk about lying right through their teeth. So my female friend ended up getting a DUI and going to jail. Well who would have ever imagined that they had somehow illegally fraudulently applied with my signature for a credit card with Credit Care and sent me credit cards in the mail. Of course I never use them and I was rather confused as to why they did so. Then I started receiving bills for her dental work which at that time and many times after that I tried calling Abbey Dental. But, they do not answer their phone. I continue to receive billing for this, now in prison, female friend. To shorten the story and to get more directly to the point, Abbey Dental sold her bill to a creditor as a unpaid credit card debt. Now keep in the morning I did not time for a credit card they fraudulently did and have destroyed my ruined my credit, to which otherwise, is at good standings. People beware of The lying, manipulative, and deceptiveness that Abbey Dental applies to their services. Also, Credit Care works with Abbey Dental fraudulently and are crooks! Beware!!!
